What changed for players and the Wiki
Oxygen was made more valuable
The stated goal was to let the Man remain outside longer without making the game easier. Free or infinite safe-zone oxygen was removed from the described design, making oxygen something players must actively find.
Survival parameters interact
Gas, hunger, thirst, environment and character condition feed into buffs and debuffs. The developer says those effects can reach beyond the Man to crew, ship and base systems.
Sui returned to the suit
An earlier attempt to separate the Man and Sui was abandoned. The AI again travels on the spacesuit and uses a robotic arm intended for moving, pulling, reaching and holding objects.
Treat this as dated design evidence
The post predates Early Access. It is authoritative for the developer’s direction, but exact launch values and every described interaction still need current gameplay verification.
