Does the Breathedge 2 demo save carry over?
Do not expect the demo save to carry over. The pinned developer FAQ warned that major changes made compatibility unlikely, and a later official announcement said almost nothing from the demo was staying unchanged.

Why compatibility is doubtful
The team used demo feedback to rebuild progression, survival and other systems. A save tied to the old structure may not map safely to Early Access.
What the developer actually promised
The official FAQ said there was a strong chance that demo saves would not be supported. That is a warning, not a guarantee of migration.
Recommended action
Keep a demo save only as an archive. Begin Early Access with a new save unless the game itself offers an explicit import or the developer publishes newer instructions.
